The Chamber of Commerce is a private voluntary organization that unites businesses and professional people in an effort to expand the economy of the area. The Chamber has over 850 member companies and 1400 representatives in South Florida. Our Chamber was founded in 1925 by George Merrick. He was the founder of the city of Coral Gables and the first Chairman of the Chamber.
